JIMSPO
Below, please find a visual, auditory reference guide for Project "ANYTHING". This is a hero's journey piece with a twist. Though narrative-first, this is also a product piece featuring tech SFX.
The tone has to strike a balance between unsettling and upbeat, an odd/challenging combo, but one of the constraints we face because the opening shot steps right to the very edge of a major Twitter policy about the depiction of anything remotely related to suicide.
The score might walk the line between unsettling and hopeful, but if nothing else, think about pushing the narrative forward with insistence to help drive the tension until the hero gets his victory moment.

While darker than we need to go, the big feature here is drive. The score is moving us hard. In this case, we're using the music to punch up a lot of technical exposition. We don't have that problem in our narrative. It's fast as is.
But a gently, foreboding nudge is great.
